Sentry Insurance, one of the nation’s largest and strongest mutual insurance companies, is seeking candidates for a full time summer ‘08 internship. This will be a paid position that will be located at our downtown Stevens Point, Wisconsin Business Claim Center.
As an intern you will be trained in Sentry’s claim process and will assist in the investigation, evaluation and resolution of claims. In addition, the internship program will provide an overview of insurance company operations and opportunities to interact with interns from other Sentry departments.
Qualifications: Preferred candidates will be in their Senior year (but Juniors can also apply!) and be in good standing with the university. Business Administration, Communication and Political Science majors are encouraged to apply but all majors will be considered. The position requires strong communication, organizational, interpersonal abilities and the desire to interact with a wide variety of the public. Bi-lingual skills would be helpful.
Housing Available: Sentry will provide you with housing at our Sentry Residence Center during your internship!
Hours: Full time - 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $14.00/hour
This position does not qualify for employee benefits. However, interns are eligible to use Sentry's physical fitness facility and participate in employee club programs.
