Goals & Accomplishments
WFIC supports the state’s 20 private colleges by working with business and community leaders to expand the colleges’ strength and collective action.
In 2007, WFIC surpassed $50 million in funds raised in cash and program services on behalf of the colleges.
WFIC’s strategic goals include creating a pipeline of talent by:
• Expanding our efforts to find talented students to attend our colleges, especially students of diversity.
• Supporting students while in college with scholarships.
• Linking students back to the Wisconsin economy through internships and other workplace partnerships.

Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce founded WFIC on February 10, 1954.

Status
WFIC is a nonprofit corporation. It is classified as a charity under regulations 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations to WFIC are tax deductible.
